You can put some intro text here to sum up why GO is important at your church.

To God’s glory, we will work to lead change in the global community while partnering with the world wide community of faith by equipping, supporting and encouraging our own Highpoint members to bring help, hope and healing to people throughout the world and to promote church planting movements.

Currently, Highpoint members are involved in missions all over the world. There are many ways to support missions, which include prayer, financial support, or joining a missions team to travel and work.

Want more information on missions at Highpoint? Just fill out this form and indicate your interests, and our team will get back with you!

Hearts for the Homeless

Hearts for the Homeless is a group of God’s Children reaching out to their less fortunate brothers and sister, simply working to provide what we can to make their lives a little better. From food, clothing and toiletries- to God’s Word and prayer,  our Hearts serve the community wherever there is a need.

Dates TBA

The opportunities to help are as simple as praying for this Ministry, to collecting items, to joining in delivering these things as needed.

Literacy Partners

In 2008, an inter-faith ministries group in the greater Austin area committed to spend more of their efforts on decreasing the student dropout rate. After a great deal of research, the coalition identified one common, root problem: children are four times more likely to drop out of school if they’re not reading on level by third grade.

What started as a pilot at one school has now grown to include over 800 volunteers from multiple organizations, serving in schools across the Greater Austin Area.  Literacy Partners is a partnership between Leander ISD and the faith-based community, pairing students and volunteers together to practice reading and engage in conversations about the books being read. The purpose of the Literacy Partners initiative is to facilitate the goal that every child is reading on grade level by third grade.

Highpoint Fellowship supports Giddens Elementary with volunteers each year to read to these precious children for 15 minutes per week.
